Tony Jara is a software developer based in Paraguay who once mixed sound at festivals and now ships products for food businesses and creators. This is his portfolio, his notebook, and where he has fun.

Fastermenu

Storefronts for food that moves

One link that tells customers what's cooking. Fastermenu replaces the bio link for food trucks, pop-ups, supper clubs, bakeries and market vendors, the businesses that sell by date and location rather than from a fixed address.

A weekly schedule with maps, a digital menu built from a photo, orders over WhatsApp with no commission, loyalty punch cards that live in Apple and Google Wallet, and a subscriber list for the next drop.

Tony is a software developer from Paraguay. He started coding at the end of 2019, when a stretch of free time collided with an idea he had been carrying around for years. Good mentors did the rest. Today he designs and builds web products end to end, and works remotely with clients anywhere.

Before that he lived in the music world. He owned a rental company and worked as a freelance audio engineer at some of the biggest festivals in the region. The two careers overlap more than you would think: both are about working with people and figuring out what they actually need. Both involve an unreasonable number of cables.

Off hours he goes birding. He also uses Neovim, and would like you to know that.
